Yes the book is very convincing. The writer conviences us so well with examples and terms." I can't afford"., I can afford but I wont. Rich generation. The generation born with comforts. The classroom ratios. The changing dynamics of the schools.
Wow! But the only question I have is how can we take it for granted that the same conditions apply to our school?
Same situations apply to our school?
The reason for these questions are
1) Indian culture is different.
2) Indian Syllabus is different.
3) Indian School settings are different.
When we say each child is different, each school is different, each teacher is different, can we not find out what is required for us rather than comparing and looking for the situations somewhere else?
Do we not have the ability to study our of past (25 years), data, experiences and work accordingly.
I am thankful to the author to bring me closer to myself and having such questions developed which may remain unanswered.
